We’re excited to announce the launch of Ctrl + Alt + CLE, a collaborative effort to provide resources and opportunities for individuals and organizations to find innovative solutions to needs in the community through the use of data and technology. Ctrl + Alt + CLE is part of our larger Digital Excellence Initiative to build a strong, equitable and resilient digital ecosystem in Greater Cleveland.
The resources and opportunities offered by Ctrl + Alt + CLE include special events, access to co-working space at the DigitalC MidTown Tech Hive, hands-on data and skills training, and challenge grants. By providing these resources, Ctrl + Alt + CLE aims to convene and empower individuals and organizations working in our region’s data, tech and civic ecosystem to solve community issues and improve the quality of life in our region through innovation.
“Ctrl + Alt +CLE is all about uniting people in Greater Cleveland who are passionate about technology, data and community issues,” said our Chief Technology & Information Officer Leon Wilson. “Everyone is welcome to be part of Ctrl + Alt + CLE, whether they’re an established tech professional or a local student who simply enjoys programming in their free time. By bringing all these people together, providing resources and encouraging collaboration, we hope to build a stronger sense of community in this field while making our region a better place to live.”
As part of the launch of Ctrl + Alt +CLE, we’re kicking off Ctrl + Alt + CLE Convenes, a series of monthly gatherings at Digital C’s MidTown Tech Hive that will serve as a forum for networking and discussion around topics related to data, tech and civic issues. These gatherings are free to attend and open to the public, and the first event is scheduled for Sept. 6. Check out the event details below, and make plans to join us!
