This session will present a look at workforce disruption caused by the pandemic, recommendations and best practices for approaching a second-half-of-life transition. Topics will include:

- Options for volunteering or “workateering”
- Must-do considerations before making a big change
- A look at ageism and its implications for older worker
How To Reboot Your identity

In this session, you’ll learn about the process of reinvention – what it means, what it involves and what you’ll need to do to reboot your identity and create a new personal brand. Topics will include:
- Defining the process of reinvention
- How to build the brand called “you”
- The seven principles of reinventing and rebranding at 50+
- Case studies and profiles of “reinventors”
- A resource guide to assist you
Launched in 2013 by the Cleveland Foundation, Encore Cleveland channels the time, energy and talents of experienced Greater Clevelanders into solving community challenges and filling unmet needs. Encore Cleveland’s network of 12 nonprofit agencies offers a wide range of programs and opportunities for Greater Clevelanders who want to earn a paycheck, volunteer, start their own business or give back to the community after retiring from their primary career. Christine Stadler is a business advisor and founder of consulting services firm BDS Inc. Prior to launching BDS in 2002, she spent 25 years in senior marketing roles with high growth companies where she gained significant experience in strategy and developing high performance teams.
She is currently a member of the national Encore Network. Christine is a native Clevelander and a graduate of Cleveland State University with a degree in Marketing Communications. She is also a Volunteer Coach for First Tee of Cleveland.
