Four years ago, the world came to Cleveland + Akron to be part of Gay Games 9. Now, as the world prepares to head to Paris, France, to be part of Gay Games 10, we’re partnering with The LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland to host an official GG9 Reunion and Brunch as the closing event of the 2018 Pride in the CLE. We’re excited to announce a new location for the brunch: Merwin’s Wharf on the Cuyahoga River!
Located on the river’s Irishtown Bend, Merwin’s Wharf features stunning views of water and wildlife with nearby connections to recreational opportunities. Nestled in the post-industrial site of Cleveland’s Flats neighborhood, Merwin’s Wharf connects guests to urban greenspace where brunch diners can enjoy hot breakfast favorites and a delicious selection of pastries. Treat your palate to fluffy eggs, bacon, sausage, & fresh hot items off the griddle. Full bar service is also available.
Registration for the reunion is free, with brunch buffet and beverages available for on-site purchase: $18.00 for adults (beverages not included), $12.00 for kids 12 and under, and FREE for children 5 and under! No advance registration or tickets are required, but if you plan to join us, please let us know by RSVPing via our Eventbrite page here.
Whether you were a participant, volunteer, spectator, or community supporter, join us for the official celebration of the impact of Gay Games 9 in our community as we transition the legacy to Paris. Expect food, drinks, entertainment and a great reunion to close out Pride in the CLE!
Everyone is welcome, so rally your friends and make a plan to join us June 3!
