Sally and Bob Gries Keynote Lecturer Valerie Jarrett, CEO of The Barack Obama Foundation, will discuss inspiring the next generation of leaders in a moderated conversation with CNN’s Victor Blackwell.

About Valerie Jarrett
The Honorable Valerie Jarrett is chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of The Barack Obama Foundation. Jarrett was the senior advisor to President Barack Obama from 2009-2017, making her the longest serving senior advisor to a president in history. She oversaw the Offices of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs and chaired the White House Council on Women and Girls.
About Victor Blackwell
Victor Blackwell is an Emmy award-winning journalist and co-anchor of “CNN This Morning Weekend.” He hosts “First of All with Victor Blackwell” and has anchored CNN’s “New Day“ and “Newsroom.” Blackwell’s notable reporting includes breaking news stories like the El Paso and Dayton shootings, Hurricane Dorian, and the George Floyd protests. He joined CNN in 2012 from WPBF 25 News in Florida and has received numerous awards, including the Edward R. Murrow Award. He earned his B.A. from Howard University.
